2018 looks set to propel both producers to lofty echelons with the duo enjoying a wealth of individual success last year, making the
rankings of Beatport’s Top 10 best selling tech-house producers.
Having formed a successful partnership with their b2b series, which has gone from strength to strength since first launching at BPM Mexico in January 2017, Alexander Georgiandis, AKA Detlef, and Joe Bradley, AKA Latmun, have garnered reputations as two of the most exciting up-and-coming names in the underground scene. With the latter releasing EPs on Hot Creations and Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars label in 2017.
Detlef soon found himself as a regular at some of Europe’s biggest events, including Jamie Jones’ Paradise parties at DC10, The Warehouse Project, Creamfields and The BPM Festival.
The greek producer was also no stranger to the festival circuit last year, performing killer sets at ADE’s Paradise event, Insomniac’s Escape Festival, and CRRSD Festival, earning support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Green Velvet, Matthias Tanzmann, and Pete Tong in the process.
Spreading their groove-driven sounds across Florida in March over the course of Miami Music Week, the Detlef b2b Latmun tour will also see the pair play a series of UK locations, including the Foundry in Torquay, with further stops at elrow in Barcelona and Hideout Festival in mid-July. Rounding off their schedule in North America for 3 dates between 9th and 12th August, the Detlef b2b Latmun World Tour is shaping up to be one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the 2018 dance music calendar.
GW HARRISON // https://soundcloud.com/
With a club residency aged just 13 and a father that was heavily involved in the original rave scene, few origins stories are as rich as GW Harrison’s. Essex born, Kent bred, George W Harrison was gifted his first set of Technics aged 12 and has been surrounded by electronic music all his life.
Resident at Gatecrasher whilst at Uni and with three full years in Ibiza on his CV at some of the islands most established venues and events, GW has attracted a lot of attention of late. He is now fully part of the London scene with a residency at London’s hottest party; Abode, GW Harrison’s adaptive style will always be uplifting and always attempt to educate and sees him with a very impressive diary of bookings.
RANOUVA GROOVES // https://soundcloud.com/
Ranouva Grooves are an up and coming DJ & production duo from Exeter who, in an incredibly short space of time, have played alongside the likes of Danny Howard, CamelPhat & Eton Messy.
With one of their songs ‘Night Time‘ being played on BBC Radio 1 Introducing in Devon, they now have an interest from a major label to sign their music. As they continue to cultivate their breakthrough into the House & Techno scene, expect only big things to come from these two.
